Feedback
One reviewer was disappointed with the small portions and lack of seafood in the fisherman's bowl, feeling it was not worth the price. Another reviewer was shocked by the high cost of drinks during happy hour and the manager's lack of concern. Despite these negatives, other diners enjoyed oysters, pasta, and steak, with some inconsistencies. The atmosphere at Cache Lounge received high praise, especially during live music nights. A couple praised the seafood tower, friendly service, and tips from staff. Overall, the restaurant offered delicious food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere in Kelowna.
My gf from Grand Forks came to visit so we thought we would go for a couple of drinks & check out their live music at Caché. It was a nice night with delicious cocktails and Adam Meacham was amazing! Great ambiance in this lounge. A must visit in Kelowna.
What a great find, and I have lived in Kelowna since 1999. We sure needed a place like this. What makes this Lounge stand out is that the food, drinks and entertainment were all excellent. But even better at reasonable prices! We did not tell them we were celebrating a Birthday but they accommodated us by re arranging tables etc. We ended up having 16 people show up.We had the pleasure of listening to a gal by the name of Niki Martinez she could sing anything from Lady Gaga to Jolene lol.Wow and the bartender can actually make a proper Martini. :)My only suggestion for improvement would be to get rid of the high tables with the uncomfortable chairs and put small tables or comfortable lounge chairs instead. Will I go back you bet ya! I just hope they make it as winter in Kelowna can be tough for business! Please help our community by going lol! Can't wait to try the restaurant now! Thanks Kelly Harrison
Our friends came back to visit us and they are craving to eat oysters we decided to give another try to go to westcoast grill maybe they will give us a different service this time we start a 2 dozen of fresh oysters and its really good after that is a flatbread came out to dry we dont want to say more to the waitress about it just decided to not to order more and just go for main meal to Raudz atleas they have a goid oyters and service was better this time will be back just for oysters.
My husband and I ordered a dozen of the daily oyster (barstool). Platter had a recognizable 4 plump little oysters. 8 others were teeny, literally the size of a fingernail . We asked our server about it and she confirmed they were all the same....She became flustered then came back and told us there had been a “changeover”, but she hadn’t told us. Said “sorry about that” We pointed out the tiny oysters and she proclaimed that yes, they were “smaller, but more intense” . The bill arrived, and we were stunned to see that she had charged us the full $48 . What a dumb thing to do, claim to be an oyster bar, lie about your oyster types, serve microscopic reject oysters, than not knocking off a few dollars to “make it right”. Too bad; the seafood chowder was lovely, but who would go back?
We had a table reserved for 4 people, which was great! This was our second time dining here. Two people in our group ordered the halibut with fries. Unfortunately, the fries were overcooked. We asked for a new batch for both parties and they brought them out right away, but they still weren't cooked properly (they were overcooked again, but not as bad as the first batch). The chef needs to learn how to cook fries properly so they don't end up overcooked. Overall, we were a bit disappointed as we had guests visiting from out of town.
