As a frequent visitor over several decades to the USA I have become a fan of this fast food chain. We arrived in Canada about a week ago and Kelowna yesterday. I was delighted to find an Arby's here and took my S African wife there last night. It was her first Arby's and she loved the mountains of thinly sliced beef in a bun and the curly fries. The service is fantastic. Contrary to other reviews the place was not di... View all feedback.
What Elena Keller doesn't like about Arby's Restaurant:
The food is better then McDonald's/Burger King but prices seem to have gone through the roof. 4 sandwiches for 27 dollars...and that's without the combos. Kids were hungry and it served a purpose. Food came out fast, hot, and it was decent for fast food. Great Canadian, philly, cordon blue, and chicken Swiss. No real complaints on any of them View all feedback.
Like many Arbys missing here. Had yesterday the Cheddar-Rost-Rindsandwich with curly frits at the Aldergrove site. The service was fast and the food was good. A little drive from Surrey, but still had to drive to Langley so the additional distance it was worth. Now I discovered that there is also a location in Tsawwassen. Next time I have a desire for Arby's Mught just have to take a ride this way.
In recent years I have had a variety of food from this facility. This month, again often because of the coupons and tried more than just their classic roast beef sandwiches. Your food is always good, hot and served quickly. Friendly staff. Restaurant is rarely busy and coffee is also reasonable. I love the curly pommes! Even their crumbs are the best everywhere.
I wouldn't recommend stopping at this restaurant, even for fast food. The food at Arby's is not good compared to Wendy's right next door, which is much better.
I was very disappointed to find that Arby's is just another fast food restaurant like McDonald's or Burger King, but with higher prices. We had assumed it was a sit-down restaurant where you could order from a menu, but instead, we ended up just getting the typical combo with fries and a drink. If you're hoping for salads or unique menu items like those found at Arby's locations overseas, this is definitely not the same franchise.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was an open Arby's nearby. My friend and I decided to have lunch there, as it had been years since I last had an Arby's sandwich and my friend had never been to one before. This particular location is conveniently located on Harvey/Hwy 97, just east of downtown. The restaurant was clean and the setup inside was different from what I remembered. They have a self-serve fountain drink machine, sauces are dispensed through a pump instead of individual packets, and there are different sizes of sandwiches available. We both ordered the Beef N Cheddar combo with curly fries, which were just as delicious as I remembered, especially with Arby's sauce. Thank you for the nostalgic meal.
