Despite the lively activities around the castle and the crowd of hotel guests and diners, we felt safe knowing that all current COVID protocols were being followed. We were seated immediately and quickly placed our drink and menu orders. Our food order was taken shortly thereafter, and our appetizers arrived soon after—they were absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We highly recommend the Derby Bar for its excellent food and service and look forward to returning.

However, during a recent visit, I opted to try their bar food for a late lunch, and unfortunately, both my friend and I were let down. I ordered a Caesar salad that was soggy and bland, and I could barely finish a few bites. My friend’s open steak sandwich was equally disappointing.
