I have a preference for wines, especially quality varietals, but that’s not what you'll find here—only sweet wines like obstwein, apfelwein, or fruit-infused options. I tried some of their offerings, and while they were quite good, we ended up ordering a few bottles. However, I wish the tasting flight had a bit more sophistication. What User doesn't like about Kelleys Island Wine Co.:
We visited the winery the Wednesday before the Fourth of July, where we enjoyed some refreshments on the front porch. The next day, we came back for lunch, and I was delighted with my burger—it was perfectly seared and handmade. We definitely returned for the drinks and, of course, the food. However, the main reason for our return was that my wife had accidentally left her phone behind on Wednesday. A big thank you t... View all feedback.
The waitress responded with a rehearsed line: "We can’t guarantee there won’t be cross-contamination," and added, "I don’t think so, but I’ll ask about the pan." She returned to inform me that only meat is cooked on the grill, like chicken, bacon, and beef, showing a lack of awareness about the oils, marinades, and seasonings that can contaminate cooking surfaces. Unfortunately, the burger arrived slathered in melted cheddar cheese, along with fries and pickles. We had to reorder while the rest of us ate in front of my husband, who later fell seriously ill just 20 minutes afterward. Clearly, butter, corn oil, or soy oil is being used on the grill. We specifically chose your restaurant because of its Allergy Friendly reputation. It's misleading to promote on your website and menu that you take allergies seriously if your staff is not adequately trained to handle these concerns. My husband did not choose to have these allergies; it is a genuine disability. I wish the server today had shown a better understanding and approach to this matter. This review is heartfelt and aims to improve safety for other patrons with allergies at your restaurant. This is a growing population that can be accommodated with minimal steps and proper training. Thank you for your attention to this important issue.

Seven small four-ounce plastic cups don’t do the wines justice; I admire wineries that serve in real glassware. Even if they offer small four-ounce servings, the glass enhances the aroma and allows you to better appreciate the clarity of the wine. If you enjoy sipping on fruity wines, this place might be right for you!

A big thank you to Denise, who found the phone and kept it safe, and to Kristin, who took great care of us during our visit.
This place is the dream of a mother. drink a drink while their children play (play set, court games, visit using, even a whole collection of board games) and someone else cooks and cleanses! the sangria was wonderful, and the bruschetta pizza is one must. these fresh ingredients! friendly service and very nice, clean toilets. Maybe wait a bit, but in the meantime a lot to do would come back!
Eating was phenomenal, the wee was excellent, we really enjoyed the white cyote. the service was top notch, sitting on the veranda was so cozy. will be back?
