Description
This unpretentious neighborhood bar delivers lively, honky-tonk energy and a friendly, humorous staff. Locals praise strong cocktails, cold beer, generous breakfasts and affordable prices—burgers and BLTs are solid choices—making it a reliable stop for day drinking, road trips or casual mornings.
Expect fun rather than finesse: service and draft quality can be inconsistent, bartenders sometimes favor regulars, and heating has failed during cold days. There are also rare but serious food-safety complaints. Not upscale, but a spirited spot with occasional rough edges.

What a fantastic little gem in Salem! The breakfast top sirloin steak is incredible—tender and cooked just right. Plus, you can get a full breakfast for only $15. Seriously, in what world can you find a better breakfast deal than that? To top it off, the staff and service are excellent. You can always trust where the locals choose to dine!
The food is excellent for the price. The lower cost allows me to give a bigger tip to the servers, who are really friendly here.
The service was attentive, which is an important aspect to note. The atmosphere was lively and full of energy, reminiscent of a honky-tonk vibe. It felt like a blast of fun, comparable to the delightful experience of enjoying peanut butter-filled treats.
We stopped by for a quick meal during our road trip, and it was pretty much what we expected. We each had a burger, which was decent—neither bad nor extraordinary. The cold beer was definitely a nice touch. The prices were reasonable, and the service was satisfactory. If you're looking for a straightforward meal in a classic neighborhood sports bar atmosphere, this is the spot for you.
You don't visit this dive bar for gourmet food or an elegant atmosphere, but it's definitely worth stopping by for a fun night out or a bit of day drinking on your day off. The staff is humorous and approachable, making you feel like friends while you enjoy your drinks. The regulars are easily recognizable and enhance the vibe with their tales of nights gone by. I ordered a vodka soda, and my friend tried a lemon drop and a Moscow mule. Her verdict? "Plenty of vodka!" So, we give it a solid 9/10! There you have it!
