I bought 4x fish flakes and chips with 2x potato cakes yesterday (20-Dec 2020) before close (7:30pm). This was my first time to Kia Moana. The lady that served... read more I bought 4x fish flakes and chips with 2x potato cakes yesterday (20-Dec 2020) before close (7:30pm). This was my first time to Kia Moana. The lady that served me was very nice (Kia Ora). The chips and the Potato cake were nice and crispy. But the battered fried fish was very soggy (full of oil). The batter was very heavy, thick and falling apart. The fish was very chewy. My partner thought the grilled fish was chicken fillet. The batter didn't taste very good it seems like it was cooked in old (contaminated) oil. Everything looked bright yellow and tasted very oily. My dog enjoyed the fish, the batter went in the bin. My family had fish and chips many times before and we enjoyed it very much. Nothing like this. Hmmm, I'm staying off fish and chips until my system gets rid of the yuckiness taste I have in my mouth and belly. Sorry to say but I'm not going back to Kia Moana again (Aue).

The meals are truly fantastic and offer excellent value for your money—one burger could easily feed 2-3 people! It's definitely worth it! The service was also great. I highly recommend checking it out—it's well worth a visit!
