Peachy Keene Cafe

The food is excellent and there are always new dishes to sample. The restaurant is open for dinner on Fridays, and the special meal is always a delightful surprise. I highly recommend this place if you find yourself in the Keene area.

We dropped by here for lunch. Turkey vegetable soup was good. Meal was good as well. The waitress was friendly and polite. I would go back.

Stopped in to shake off the road dust, there's this charming place & a general store in the area. We were the only customers at the time & we had the full attention of the staff, likely owners/family members. A great breakfast, pop in to say hello.

Looking at it from the outside you'd think it was shut tight.....but open the door and hey, there's some people in here, plus nice smells, fine 'realistic style' artwork, and a country radio station playing fairly loudly but on good speakers. The latter normally isn't a selling point for me, but it was so consistent with the rest of the atmosphere, that it was actually quite enjoyable. The coffee was much better than most small town restaurant coffee. My partner's breakfast, with scrambled eggs and peameal bacon was as good as could be expected, along with some very tasty pan friend potatoes. My mushroom cheese burger was ok......although I was kind of hoping there'd be more mushrooms. Terrific service. And we had a comfortable time.

Went for breakfast. Very good. Although there was only one server waiting tables, food arrived in a timely fashion. Fair pricing. Will return.
