Brothers Mini Mart - Kearny

I stopped at brothers to get a few hard rolls and some doughnuts. I get home to find out that the rolls I paid for are not in my bag. I get passed that figuring oh well, what am I gonna do as I live a good distance away to go back. So then i go to eat a doughnut. This doughnut must have been two days old. Do they make there doughnuts everyday? All the doughnuts I purchased were so dry. This place use to have the best creme doughnuts and rolls around. Dont know what happened but that may be the last time I stop there.

An extensive assortment of pastries, cakes, fresh baked and sliced breads. Also serve Gelato. They do custom order cakes for all occasions. Their cakes are super moist and full of flavor.

While the service and presentation may not be flawless, the baked goods are awesome! Fresh baked and not too sweet... this is my go-to I didn 't have time to bake, but try these! offering, and I get repeat requests!

The rolls here are outstanding for sandwiches. Unlike a denser Italian role, they are a little more airy so your not that filled up with all the bread. Their French bread is also excellent. They also make a nice seven layer cake.
