Valentino's - Kearney

Delicious food, great variety, separate stations for salads, soups and hot vegetables, Italian entrees (Lissagna, spaghetti, meatballs, various pastas, marinara and meat sauce), pizzas, desserts. Very clean and beautifully decorated, subtle lighting, clean toilet. I love it! (Senior Discount also, over 60)

A pizza here for dinner. They were behind us, so we got the pizza late, which was a bummer because we were on a street and on a tight schedule. Then the pizza was really boiled and diligent. We had pizzas at other Valentino's, which were fantastic, but that was a rather unfortunate experience.

We enjoyed the place. The food was pretty good and the staff was friendly. The service was slow, and tables needed cleared off. But I don't blame that on the employees. Like so many other places, they were very short staffed.

I didn't know children were eating free on Tuesday, so I had a nice surprise! There were very limited staff, but the few who were great! I think the guy who runs the register also took the tables, and he was super fast to delete our records. It looked like only one guy did the buffet, refilled and I never saw anything empty. Maybe there were more employees I didn't see? Anyway, good work for the few I saw tonight. It's crazy how a few really great employees can do as much work as a dozen not as good employees.

I'm from near Kearney, and everytime we visit, we make sure to eat at Valentino's. We sometimes show up with large family groups, and they are very accomodating! The pizza is fantastic, and the other foods are pretty good as well. The staff is very friendly, and they make sure you enjoy your time. The desert is a good ending for a great meal.
