I don't even remember what we ordered but it was good. I would certainly come here again if I am ever in the area.

Pizza was okay and probably tasted better because of the amount... read more Pretty solid Brewery stop, especially for Nebraska. The staff was friendly and on top of things. Pizza was okay and probably tasted better because of the amount of time we were on the road that day. Otherwise it was underwhelming. Overall a decent stop, and a better stop if you are just looking for beer.

Grabbed a booth and placed an orde... read more Went to thunderhead brewing based on the reviews and a love of beer. Arrived and was told it's open seating up or downstairs. Grabbed a booth and placed an order for a couple beers. The beers arrived flat, no head and roughly 20 minutes after they were ordered. My colleague didn't like the beer he had chosen and the waitress offered to take this beer off the bill and get him something else. She offered a few samples and we placed our order. Our calzones arrived and they were excellent! Good flavor and just the right size to be filling. The beer samples arrived after we finished eating. We decided not to stick around for another round and I paid our bill and we left. When I arrived home and checked the bill my colleagues beer was still on there, which truly i have no problem with but overall I won't be back for the beer or service.

My wife and I each sampled a flight of their... read more We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, enjoying delicious pizzas and nachos served in generous portions. My wife and I each sampled a flight of their seasonal and limited craft beers, which showcased fantastic flavors. It was fun to take notes on each one as we savored them. The restaurant is very welcoming to families; we brought our 10-year-old daughter along, and she had a great time. They also offer daily specials, and we left with two six-packs that we could mix and match, enjoying a discount of a dollar off each six-pack thanks to the promotion. The service was both attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves exploring local craft beers!

Unlike some places that make you feel out of the loop for thinking IPAs taste like Pine Sol, Thunderhead is a breath of fresh air. The bartender was extremely helpful to my friend, who couldn’t differentiate between a hefeweizen and a porter, and still took the time to answer all my questions. We didn’t get a chance to try the pizza since we had other plans, but it looked amazing. If we had another day in Kearney, we definitely would have made sure to fit their pizza into our schedule.
