Holy cow! what a jewel on the interstate from east to west. we ate here on a quiet Sunday evening and had a fast, excellent service and huge portions of drinks, salad and meat. it seems traveling and natives are coming right here and are greeted as friends. the bar area has tw visible from some tables and they play country music, but not too loud. we had smoked rib and bark breezes and took about half with us, there was so much. we have the delicious looking desserts only bc we were so full. we are coming back!

Omg! this place is amazing! prime rib 8 oz was very tasty! paired with soothed mushrooms....fantastic! brisket sandwich was super! bottomless sides ensure that they have no hunger! great place! friendly and fast service! will eat here whenever in the opposite!

Best skeever this page of the mississippi! eating was great and the staff was friendly. what really turned out were the huge mason glasses for water (with optional lemons.) not to mention the delicious and groundless sides (no sweat) and warm, damp hand towels to wipe off face and hands before they pull out the door.

Cannot believe how great this place was! The service was topnotch and with a family of 7 and me getting steak bill was less than a hundred bucks...we can't get through McDonald's for this price. Skeeters Barnes was a hidden gem for us as we are traveling across the country. We even showed up right before closing and the staff welcomed us in and were just amazing. When we make it back this way we will definitely be stopping in for some great food!

Saugage and m&c was good. Brisket and pork was dry. Potatoes seemed like possibly they had been sitting for a while. In defense, we showed up an hour before closing. I'd rather be told that they couldn't serve us though than be served less than perfect meal. Especially in light of the price of meals going up. Quality of food service cost nothing. The help was great though. I'm sure things are normally better. Just caught them at a bad time.
