This is a great little find in the area close to the college. Food is great and prices are reasonable. It is a must stop any time I'm in town. I love their stuffed baked potatoes with pork. Yummy! Make sure to ask for the tinfoil off of it...makes it easier when cutting the potato to not have that in the way. They have a wide variety of bbq options so you are sure to get your bbq fix here. Kansas City native and I can tell you, this is the best barbecue meat you'll find in central Nebraska. These guys are from Kansas City and know what they're doing. Tastes like home.
I love trying new places and I always hear good things about Luke and Jake's so we decided to stop in. I got a polish dog and while it was still a little cold in the middle it was delicious. The BBQ sauce was AMAZING and my friend loved his sandwich. I can't wait to go back and try the Giant Stuffed Potatoes!
We stopped in at 1:30 not many people eating. The place is spotless. The brisket and pork plate was very good. Hot bbq sauce was not very hot st all but was good. The sides of beans and potatoe salad were good also. I recommend you give it a try. Good smokey flavor.
Great place! Excellent pork and beef-very tender and tasty. The stuffed potato was also very good! Glad we took a chance and stopped by!
Great frozen custard. Delicious toppings too. Fun place with red gingham table cloths and a fun decor. Great college town feeling. Didn't try the BBQ, but it smelled wonderful.
