Restaurant is cozy country feeling on the water. Food was good . Waitress was a little slow at getting around while the place wasn't overly busy at that time

Title says it all in the title..the owners and staff make it. Comfortable and accommodating .live music always spot on , wait to see jason (owner) on the fiddle

Murphy's is a great place to unwind and relax. Great food, great service. The patio situated across from the locks is great. Good for Family, Friends, Business. You name it this is the place for you.

We ate dinner here two days ago and it was delicious. The entertainment was nice and the views were lovely. Highly recommend it.

New to town so my husband and I decided to try this place out. Great spot right alongside the locks. Patio was packed. Menu was very small. I had planned on getting a steak but they didn't offer any. Decided on the Caesar salad with shrimp. It was 14.95 for the salad and 4.50 for the shrimp. Salad was terrible for the price. They advertised a home made dressing. The salad was very soggy like it had been sitting made for quite some time. There was black lettuce all through it. I set that aside on a side plate as I was eating it. The dressing was not tasty at all. Just tasted like watered down Caesar dressing from a bottle. There was next to no bacon in it. I did however find a few bacon bits in the bottom. There were 3 shrimp in the salad. They were actually really good. My thoughts on this salad are that I understand a restaurant is in business to make money but if you are going to serve a soggy bowl of lettuce with 3 shrimp for almost twenty bucks we will just go somewhere else for a night out. My husband ordered the seafood pasta. It was tasty. Small portion for a man but he said it was good. The garlic bread wasn't what you would expect. Looked like two tiny triangles of pita bread toasted. All in all I have to say I did express my dislike for my entree and they took the salad off of our bill. Because of they way the waitress handled it we will return for another meal and try something else. I'm sure by the amount of people dining there must be many other tasty dishes to try.
