We were hesitant because there wasn't what we normally get at cafes, but we had traveled from Ruakaka, so ordered from the menu on the board with coffees and waited. Coffee out first WOW. Fresh ingredients, fresh coffee, just good food. Beware, because everything is made to order and the food is more than your average grab n go, don't expect this to be a quick bite. I'm not saying the service is slow, but this is more of a small restaurant than just a cafe. The menu is excellent and the staff puts a lot of work into your food. Sit, relax, and dig in. Only has street parking. Lots of shops on either side.
Had a nice selection of drinks, I enjoyed the Turmeric Latte. We didn't try any of the food, though it looked very tempting, everything looked delicious. Clearly it was a popular stop off as it was very busy.
Good quality tasty food with reasonable price. Attendants were all welcoming.
Amazing coffee. Drove back the second time (50km detour) as it was so good the first time, and was not disappointed the return trip. Keep up the good work!
Love this little gem at Kawakawa. Good coffee, friendly staff, yummy food, perfect location.
