Uncle Julio's - Katy
Uncle Julio's
Description
Uncle Julio's dazzles with its vibrant atmosphere and fun attractions like the Chocolate Piñata, making it a worthwhile destination for special occasions. However, the culinary experience leaves much to be desired. Diners reported undercooked tortilla chips, oxidized guacamole, and overly salted fajitas that marred the meal. Service was inconsistent; while some staff displayed friendly attitudes, delays and mix-ups plagued many visits. Despite these missteps, the restaurant's appeal lies in its beautiful ambiance and standout beverages, like the delicious raspberry margarita. For now, guests might consider enjoying the sweets while tempering expectations for the main course.

Feedback
The food was very fresh. After a photo shoot, I visited this restaurant and was pleased to see plenty of open parking spaces. The only designated spot near the entrance was for handicapped parking.
Onkel Julio and I were at the schoolyard with Paul Simon when he convinced me to try this restaurant that specializes in Tex-Mex cuisine in Houston.
I have been dining at this restaurant several times since it opened, and I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of the food and service.
