The Wildcatter Saloon - Katy

I worked here for about 2 years starting in 2020 this is a high volume music venue with 2 big stages and one small indoor stage for the dive bar extremely family friendly until 9 pm. not uncommon to see babies and toddlers, as there is so much space and things to explore this venue is owned by a local family that works hard every day the staff are passionate about providing quick and friendly service the shows are well produced and the talent is talented, u really cant go wrong here the owners take pride in the bands and artists they book come alone or with friends, im sure you’ll quickly feel like u belong here somehow the wildcatter is good to hang out at or rock out at depending on what day and time u go it’s going to be a different experience, but always a good time check out their facebook to see when they are hosting events such as bingo and crawfish it’s a yuppie bar to the bikers and a biker bar to the yuppies. leave your judgements at the door. this is an EVERYONE is welcome as they come kind of place. there are so many friendly people that come here with the common interest of enjoying conversation and live music im proud that i used to work here. they 100% deserve the awards they have for best music venue in katy oh and the road there is bumpy and rough. the city of katy won’t allow that road to be changed. but remember, the bumpiest and hardest roads taken tend to lead to the best places…

I don't go there in the mornings or early in the day to eat the foods, but I go here a bunch of Wednesday evenings with my fiancée, his dad, and sometimes his dad's friends for bingo and karaoke night. It's SO much fun to just be there and play and just hang out.

This band and the venue last night were unbeatable!! The staff had their sh!t together, they were all invested in the effort, I observed a lot of team work with the same goal of speed and satisfaction ! Bartenders and servers were constantly scanning the crowd, I never had to wait more than a minute for a drink in a fully packed venue. That’s unheard of. It was the best time I’ve had in a long time!

Great place to meet up with friends. Very courteous and professional staff. We were there for a concert this night. It is one of favorite places in Houston to see live shows. I highly recommend this place if you like smaller venues with intimate seating.
