Spring Creek - Katy
Spring Creek
Description
Nestled in Katy, this BBQ restaurant elicits a range of reactions from diners. While the brisket is celebrated as some of the best in the area, with tender cuts and a mouthwatering sandwich, other items have left customers unimpressed. Delivery options seem to falter, particularly with dry sides and lackluster onion rings. Friendly staff and cozy seating enhance the experience, as do fresh, warm rolls and delectable pies. Yet, many patrons feel the prices don’t align with portion sizes. Overall, while there are highlights, consistency remains key for this beloved BBQ spot.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was clean with a pleasant smoky, BBQ smell. The bread was decent, not soggy which was a plus. The ribs were the highlight of the meal for me - flavorful, tender, and meaty. Definitely worth a visit.
First I would like to say that my wife and I love Spring Creek and go there often. Today we went and was so disappointed. We like to go early like at 5:00 to beat the crowd and usually the sides are nice and fresh and we love the fresh baked rolls.Today however was a different story. The sides were barley full. Looked like it was all left over from lunch. Then they had norolls. I had to go ask for a roll and they didn?t have any. They said they would put some in but it would be about 10 minutes. We were about done eating when she pulled them out of the oven. I thought she would kind of hurry over and ask if we wanted aroll, but she took her time and filled some to go orders first. By the time she came over, we were ready to go. I wish I wouldhave spent my $50.00 somewhere else this time.
I have been dining at this restaurant since it first opened and have never had a negative experience. The BBQ is fantastic, the side dishes are amazing, and the menu offers a wide variety of options. My husband and I had dinner here on August 20th and 22nd. I ordered the brisket twosome without sour cream, while my husband had the chopped baker. The food was cooked perfectly, served hot, and incredibly delicious. Spring Creek is still thriving and continuing to improve, unlike the current state of our country.
The food was excellent, and the portions were quite generous! The baby back ribs were incredibly delicious.
This is the most impressive brisket sandwich I've ever had! It was wonderfully juicy and packed with flavor. I also strongly recommend the peach cobbler; it was even better than my mother's, and she concurred! The sides could use some improvement, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Nonetheless, you should definitely check out this restaurant!
