Maria's Pizza Burgers - Katy

The cheeseburger was decent, but the service was a bit lackluster. The server didn't ask me if I wanted mayo, mustard, or ketchup, which are standard questions. I ended up with a decent but bland cheeseburger. When I went back to ask for condiments, I was told they only had ketchup. It would have been nice to know that when I ordered. I understand it was a slow day at a small independent restaurant, which is why I chose to eat there. However, if you don't want to do simple customer service tasks, that's okay. You're not obligated to work at your mom's restaurant. Overall, the cheeseburger was good, but the service could have been better. Plus, I was a bit tipsy from working in restaurants, so that may have affected my experience.

I ordered the online special which included two large pizzas, a free drink, and a side of Cajun hot wings. Everything was delicious! The pizza was fresh out of the oven and the ratio of cheese to meat was perfect (I got pepperoni and sausage). The wings were a good size, very juicy, and perfectly coated in the Cajun hot mix. I will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again!

There is no veterans discount offered. The calzone is advertised as beef but only contains hamburger meat. The pizza and calzone are good options for Texas, but Chicago and the Chicagoland area have much better pizza and calzones.

Appropriately expensive. Large selection of pizzas with the possibility to build your own pizza. Yes, I love pineapples on my pizza:p The desserts are also good.

This is a hidden gem. Called for a pickup order and it was ready in 15 mins. I wish I took more pictures, but we tried the vegetarian pizza (picture is a small personal type and so good! They load up the pizza w/ toppings. We also got the aloha pizza and pepperoni pizza. Also, their cheese sticks are so soft and gooey. Everything tastes so fresh, and delicious. My mom got the gyro with fries it was hot fresh! : we all enjoyed our meals. Large menu and something for everyone. Definitely will be back to try wings and other items. Update 3/11 Tried garlic Parmesan wings 10 pieces, Greek salad, churros very soft crispy ? all are SO good!!! Loved everything.
