With the same very pleasant ambience as previously known, the... read more Yesterday, during a must-see tour, a guest at Café Jérôme was again and was positively surprised. With the same very pleasant ambience as previously known, the selection of dishes and cakes has improved considerably. Everything is in the sign of French cuisine. At our table (group of 5 visitors) there were optional flame cakes, defensive waffles with pork fillet, with salmon and an omelet with ham and tomatoes. The dishes came almost at the same time were pretty and tasty. The whole group was very happy! After the very lush meal, three ordered a piece of cake. The selection is large and partly baked after the service. Enthusiasm of the group. Depending on Kochwang, fresh waffles are also on the program. The service staff was very attentive and friendly. Overall, Café Jérôme rounded off the Museeums visit perfectly and I look forward to the next time, in beautiful weather, after a walk in the mountain park on the outdoor terrace.

After finishing our meal, we asked se... read more We visited the restaurant on June 8th, 2025, at around 4:50 PM, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. After finishing our meal, we asked several times to pay, but were completely ignored for 20 minutes. When we finally went directly to the cashier and explained that we needed to pay because we had an appointment, the cashier (overweight, with brown hair) responded rudely and told us not to “make a scene” and that we had to wait until she finished with the next table – even though we had clearly been waiting much longer. She then turned to the other table and asked them if they wanted to pay, while still ignoring us. This behavior was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. We will definitely not be coming back.

At the last moment we discovered a sign, so there is something to bite in the castle. Usually we avoid these tourist resorts, but we didn't want to look for long. So we found ourselves in the modernly restored café in the basement of the castle. This can even be reached in a wheelchair-friendly manner via an elevator. The restaurant cafe easy visited, we took place on a small table. Service: The young staff all kind and very attentive. Overall, we were served very well by 1 Lord and 3 ladies. Beverages and food were taken up and served after a pleasant waiting period. Food and drink: On the tables is the clear and well-established menu. This is supplemented by a table in the café. Cake (which looked very good the guests look at the counter themselves. We chose: mixed salad of the season with tuna, onions, olives and sheep cheese. Baguette. € 8.50 Mixed salad in large deep plates. Beautiful fresh salad, tomatoes and cucumber slices, pepper pieces, carrot rasp, some corn, tuna, physalisdeko and a really fine balsamicodressing. Only 2 slices fresh (still warm!! toasted baguette shouted after opposition: Please add some bread! This came on time and again warm after the first two baguette discs had found their way. 4 slices extra to € 1, for me absolutely ok. Petra is full of easy-to-wearing : a nice light and good-tasting lunch, with tuna there is better quality, but was ok. Foiled potato with salad dressing, herbal cucumber and smoked salmon at € 8.50 Here the salad dressing of my previously described dish was repeated in small form. In addition, a beautiful large pell potato with the quark and on top of the smoked salmon. The arrangement in the aluminium foil Creativ Schwan... who needs creative pollution? Beverages: A dry white wine choir, 0.2 l to € 3.90 and an apple juice choir, 0.4 l to € 3.60. Cleanliness and ambience: This is where Modernism has arrived. But with style, we liked it. Everything very clean and well maintained. Comfortable seating, fresh tulip on the table and a battery candle (possibly security museum regulations are comprehensible here . Later daylight upper lights, essentially complemented by a great interior lighting with daylight character. Toilets were not visited. Conclusion on total impression 4 – happy again (for such a tourist starting point top! (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – necessarily back to kitchen trip .
