Was Yusuf Üstündağ at Gelos a mag?
In one word, it was "amazing." Firstly, the venue, service, attention and care were wonderful. We tried Gelos Meze, Beğendili Octopus, Kadayıflı Calamari, and Ot Kavurma, and each dish had amazing flavors. Even for regulars who think they know their meze/fish, the basil-infused whiting and mustard marinated sea bass were simply fantastic. What Anonym dislikes about Gelos:
Located on the terrace of a 4-story building, this restaurant offers a breezy and beautiful view. The wines are sourced from Lucien vineyards which is a plus. However, the portions are incredibly small - for example, there were only 6 pieces of calamari in the fried calamari dish, each priced at 10 lira. A little raki, a little view, and a pleasant atmosphere make for a great time at this place.
The restaurant is conveniently located near a breakfast spot. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the hostel. I would recommend staying here if you're visiting Kas.
The appetizers were delicious, we loved the Mexican mezze. The staff were friendly and very attentive!
Food is amazing, they have creative types of meze 's which must try. Great atmosphere in a rooftop, not so loud music, you can enjoy a quit evening here.
