My husband, kids, and I went for lunch and everything was excellent! I highly recommend this place and the view is pretty good too!
This restaurant is a favorite among retired travelers staying for extended periods. Situated in a prime location, the facilities are well-maintained, the staff is welcoming, and the gift shop is well-stocked. The restaurant is conveniently located near the boat ramp for launching small boats and serves as a meeting point for many fishing charters.
The Boatshed at 14 - 16 Col Kitching Drive, Karumba, is well worth a visit if you are in this area. I have never eaten barramundi of such outstanding flavour before. This wild caught barramundi leaves the farmed version for dead. We could not get over the cleanliness of the kitchen either - not a fishy smell to be had. Do yourselves a favour - go visit Pam!
Karumba Point is the last place after Karumba - nowhere else to go. Most people here come to fish & most have a boat. There are 3 caravan parks in the area. Holiday places to stay as well.
