Went early evening as we were off to the theatre, so was quiet when we arrived, but full by the time we left, reservation definitely needed. They really care and enthuse about the food, and rightly so, it was pretty wow. Went there for my wife's birthday after reading about them on Michelin star website. Let me start with positives. The food was good except the dessert which we could not eat as the crust was really hard. The service was terrible. They only cleaned the table when asked and forgot to serve the water. High points were the Scallop in congee starter from the specials board, the Coconut Margarita cocktails, and the Sea salt sponge cake. Sea bass in the banana leaf really good too, as were the Po Bao oyster bun and Crispy sesame chicken which I think are staples of their menu.
We ordered 5 dishes that was 5 huge success Easy 5 stars, highly recommend!
Fantastic dinner! I highly recommend the crispy duck. Nice staff and friendly sommelier. We even got to talk to the chef himself, who seemed really knowledgeable about Asian cuisine in general. The food and wine are rather expensive, but I’d recommend this restaurant nonetheless.
Great food, fair prices, took them a long time to bring some of the dishes. Need to reserve places.
I don’t know where to Start. The owner is a cool person to talk with.Me and my boyfriend had a Pandan and a Yuzu Gin and tonic which were Delicious. We ordered Chefs tasting menu with starters. Our waiter the Indian guy knew everything which he presented on the table and explained well. We will visit again.
