This is a great spot away from the busy streets of Wenceslas Square or Old Town Square. Like many Irish pubs in the city or back home in India, this place has a cozy atmosphere with wooden interiors and good music. They have a live screen, although they were showing golf when I visited. The prices are fair, especially for the beer. I really enjoyed the Shephard's pie, which had a delicious layer of molten cheese over a perfectly cooked lamb. I also tried their non-filtered Irish beer, which was excellent. The waitresses were friendly and helpful, offering recommendations and directions since we were tourists. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that didn't break the bank.
All of the Irish pubs in Prague are overpriced establishments, but this one stands out as the best among them. The food is decent, although expensive, and charging 55CZK for a Staropramen is outrageous.
