The chips and salsa were excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting, making it a wonderful setting for brunch. It's a shame it was raining because the terrace appeared to be a fantastic spot to dine. I ordered the salad again, and it did not disappoint. Everyone in our group seemed to be having a great time. The food was served promptly and was absolutely delicious. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Zócalo:
Food was solid, tasty, unique and priced accordingly! Would have been 5 stars but the service was slow. We waited around 15 minutes after being sat for chips, salsa and waters. Ordered margaritas that came when the food did, you'd think for wanting to be a top tier restaurant on the Plaza service would match, but it definitely does not! Pictured is the shrimp tacos (with the pink sauce) and the white fish tacos, both... View all feedback.
This is our place when we are on the plaza. a unique application to eat Mexican, which is refreshing. great happy hour, great service and great atmosphere love their great 'garage' door that opens up to the terrace in front.
Marcellus was a big server. eating was wonderful, presentation was great. I loved it! bartender wasn't friendly, but marcellus decided to do it!
Food was excellent, flavor profiles were crisp and right on. Service was not so great, chalking it up to not everyday is a good day.
Hosted a party of 20 here on a Tuesday night and it was an all around great experience. Moira and her team took great care of us and made sure our Herradura Cucumber and Mint Margaritas El Jimador Anejo Old Fashioneds were delicious. The tacos were great, but the jalapeño poppers were my favorite. I'll definitely be back to enjoy the patio.
My wife and I stopped by this week for a mid-afternoon lunch. Restaurant was very quiet. We were greeted and served by Rose, who was funny and very service oriented. She had good suggestions on the menu and got the bartender to further customize my wife 's cocktail. The chips, salsa and guacamole were outstanding. Seafood enchilada and our margaritas were delightful. Check out their distinctive side dish of terrorized carrots a funny name with an amazing flavor. Overall a great experience. It 's been a long while since we 've eaten here and now we 'll surely return!
