Trago Tapas - Kansas City

Less than half the menu was available. Hot tapas were lukewarm. Avocado was brown!

Everything about our visit was excellent. My only suggestion is that the restaurant should consider adding liqueurs, sherry, and port to their bar. A Spanish themed bar should at least have Sherry and Port.

Great service, the food was okay but extremely overpriced. We were told each plat would feed 4 people and that was absolutely not the case. After spending over $200, we ordered pizza when we got home. However, we would go back for drinks but not dinner.

We made a reservation so got right in and into our table. It took awhile to get someone to take our drink order. Once we ordered drinks or food, sometimes it was correct and what we ordered and other times.. it was not. The server said they were new and I can totally appreciate that but multiple things were wrong whether it be drinks or food. It’s way too pricey to be getting stuff wrong a bunch. I think the place overall is neat but in an odd location. You would have to know it was there to get to it or hear about it from someone else.

They were very good to accommodate our party however the service was slow and the food just wasn’t that good. My rice didn’t taste cooked all the way and my chicken was pretty tough. 2 family members got the steak and it had no flavor and was tough. My husband got the burger and out of 9 people he was really the only one that liked his food.
