Fire Canyon Barbeque - Kansas City

Fire Canyon BBQ was our go to for our company BBQs when they were in Colorado! This would be for about 50-75 people. The food was amazing and very affordable. When I would call to order they offered suggestions that made the whole process so much easier. We tried various items from the brisket to the chicken and it was all great. I would specifically order extra mac and cheese because it was a employee favorite. I was so sad to see them go, but everyone in KC is going to be lucky when they are up and running out there. The mistaken review was because you were my number one choice to try for KC bbq during my stay, however, as you are temporarily closed, I went with my second choice. Again, I apologize for the mistake, and removed the wrong review. I hope next time I head out to KC, you'll be back up and running, still my first choice to try based on others reviews. Fantastic Barbeque! My wife and I have had several events catered by Fire Canyon Barbeque ranging from work parties to personal family events. Darren has always exceeded expectations from the deliciousness of his food to his professionalism. Since he does not have a store front he is willing to deliver and even stick around to explain his process and ensure his product is of the highest quality. I would recommend to anyone looking for a superior product and service.

We ordered deliver, emphasis was on BBQ ribs that we had assumed would be baby back ribs- too bad it wasn't mentioned. I have no idea if both were available. I enjoyed my full sized BBQ ribs but some were disappointed. I learned to always ask when in a crowd but I thought they were the best they were really nearby at friend's new studio. It provided fine meal. Others had chicken a special mashed potato dish. I thought it was really good. I'm not a local though so not available for ongoing orders.

I had Fire Canyon cater a family event about 2 years ago and loved the food so much we had Darren cater our son's wedding for 150 people in Fort Collins last year. Everything about the planning and logistics was seamless and Darren was super responsive and accommodating in working out details. Take his advice on menu and serving sizes; he knows his business! Prices were reasonable and the food was worth every penny. We served multiple meat options and side dishes since we knew people would want to try everything, and that was a wise decision. The food was fantastic; everyone loved it. At the end of the wedding we put out takehome containers for people to take leftovers, and our guests were just so appreciative of that.
