Taqueria Y Paleteria La Michoacana

I love this place. I am always here to order the same; Steak and Chicken Tacos and Doritos with meat (which my husband loves). The food is freshly cooked, so prepare a few minutes to wait. The service always heats up as if you are important (I mean that you actually do). I had other things on the menu (still not from the sweet and snack bar), but I tend to keep to the tacos that is the best in the city (based on my experience with other places). Mom and pop shops always get it right.

This Mexican restaurant hasn't disappointed! My father ordered ahead (so someone wanted to know if you can specify an order/order, yes you can!) and when we arrived, everything was already done (apart from the French Pommes, but they did not last long; so the food is prepared and ready quite quickly. Time can vary, but relatively fast I would say. The food tasted good, hot and ready we have tacos they were great! They're also an ice shop! After dinner we got dessert and the ice cream is fantastic! They have all kinds of flavors and different ways to choose from. Overall great experience and good food, I would try and eat here again.

Restaurant was open late a big plus!!! Workers were very friendly and attentive, kitchen staff was professional and food was cooked to perfection. Beef burrito was very big and fulfilling, great spices and flavors, salsa was extremely hot, but tolerable if you enjoy spicy. Will return .

I’m giving them one star not because they food was bad but because of how my food was crammed together and false advertising. I ordered 6 steak tacos and 2 burritos I asked for my total over the phone after looking at the online menu and was giving a total of 33.25. How when the online prices are different. They didn’t even honor their price that they still have up online but changed it over the phone. I was told that special ended but as I’m typing this review nothing has changed with their false advertisement.

My daughter had heard of a place with Quesabirria Tacos that was really good and it wasn't a lie. These tacos were amazing and even my chicken taco meat was really well seasoned. Customer service was excellent, they were so patient, while we decided what we wanted and our ore shook with care and care what we could tell from the presentation and taste of the shake. Above all, they gave us guacamole sauce, which is the only one I eat my tacos and only in two restaurants in Kankakee.
