A truly dedicated couple serves one of the best lattes I had with muffins that melt in your mouth! You must try this on your journey through IL.

Ou... read more Consistently a great spot for breakfast or lunch, this restaurant is truly one-of-a-kind, both in its ambiance and culinary offerings, and it’s very popular. Our small group has decided to visit every month! I enjoyed the breakfast toast, which resembled marble rye, topped with arugula, roasted tomatoes, and pine nuts, along with a fantastic latte. We were all pleased with our breakfast selections.

The owners are incredibly friendly. I'm happy to drive 35 minutes to get here.

The atmosphere was cozy and charming. They offer vegetarian options as well. There are two dining areas: one is quite bright, while the other has a dimmer, more private ambiance—ideal for introverts or anyone seeking a little solitude. I chose to sit in the private room to enjoy some peaceful knitting. I ordered a salad and a cup of black coffee, both of which were excellent. I highly recommend this cafe!
