Although a bit dated, the cottage was comfortable and well appointed. Our cottage was in a perfect position affording us superb views over the well manicured golf course to the distant hills. It was a bonus seeing the local wildlife as we looked out from our cottage. View all feedback.

Beautiful location. Kangaroos, wombats, possoms and a plethora of native birds are common to see. To access this Kangaroo Valley, the roads are particularly hazardous. Tight, blind corners. If you're from Sydney, think of the Galston Gorge, but even more hazardous. Wildlife. Poor visibility. Poor road condition with significant potholes and narrow sections barely wide enough for two vehicles. Car accidents are common, landslides are common, and so delays longer than 3 hours just to access Kangaroo Valley definitely need to be planned for. Single beds are pushed together in bedrooms to make larger beds. For our stay, the bedsheets were overall okay, except for suspicious stains from previous guest's bedroom activities, and hairs in the fresh linen. The showers were fantastic. Excellent water pressure, heat and a generous shower head. The room came with a hair-dryer too. There was also an ironing board in the laundry. The milk in the fridge was out of date by 3 months. We were in one of the upgraded cabins. The older cabins were in need of immediate attention. Mould on walls, a lack of natural light and seriously outdated decor. Common items you would expect at a hotel were in the form of Single sachets of dishwasher liquid/powder, laundry powder. This feels wasteful in terms of the plastic waste produced. A 3-in-1 Shampoo/conditioner/body wash was available in the bathrooms. Staff were professional, friendly and attentive in all of our interactions.
Ah, the serenity. That's what you will get here. Secluded and peaceful cabins suitably spaced out. Decor and amenities tick all the basics, and if you bring kids they aren't so delicate or decorative that you have to worry. Solid pine bunk beds and motion triggered bathroom lights let you relax while the kids tumble around, and five minutes in the car brings you into main street kangaroo Valley. For those who don't care about the mod cons and fresh gyprock of the Wilde's, this is the right choice. The welcome addition of chromecasts to the TV's is an added bonus that not a lot of venues have. You won't have golfers shouting FOUR in your ear but you will have the wildlife and surrounds of nature. Book with confidence and enjoy the right accommodation for the right price in Kangaroo Valley.
Visited Kangaroo Valley for a wedding, we stayed in one of the cabins, it was very nice and clean, on arrival and we were allowed in a little earlier which we had organised prior to our arrival. Our location was great we were overlooking the golf course (as were all the cabins near us). There were sufficient number of very good food outlets within the area (5min drive to town). Never saw anyone (staff) as the stay was fully organised on-line. If visiting Kangaroo Valley check out the cabins well worth it.
We were very impressed with our stay in the 2 bedroom villa, beautifully placed at he top of the hill with views of the mountains, the golf course and the wildlife. We can highly recommend a stay here though it was a shame that the restaurant wasn't open. Colin and Anna 31 July 2022
