very practical place one of the best places to have a drink in candy. very clean. I tried the open area in the middle where there are beautiful wood furniture, some are made from barrels. the food is great. try the potato wedges and the teufels gramm. the waiting staff is so nice. faster service. highly recommended. What User doesn't like about Royal:
Atmosphere was lovely and service was good; nice to find a place in Kandy that serves alcohol but unfortunately the cocktails were exceptionally weak. For the price they charge I was quite disappointed, we tried 3 different ones and they were all the same so definitely not a one-off. Didn't have any food so can't speak for that, would come back for the vibe just keep your expectations low on the drinks. View all feedback.

A cozy watering hole that won't burn a hole in your pocket. Food is decent, but the best thing about this place is the ambiance.
Delicious food. Nice atmosphere to hang around with friends in the evening for a beer/drink and dinner . Prices are in higher end compared to other similar places around. But worth for money and worth trying.
Had a Very Delicious Dinner at Royal Bar Hotel. The specialty of this hotel is that they do not use artificial flavorings for their food. All food is flavored with Organic Sri Lankan spices.
