Family bar is a meeting place for many foreigners, be it expats or tourists. 50 cent beers (up to 6 pm) and a varied menu will make you welcome. Very friendly staff who speaks English. View all feedback.
What Emma Esparza doesn't like about Family Restaurant Bar:
Terrible BBQ pork rips (chewy and extremely fatty 80% and not even fully cooked). The fillet mignon with Kampot green pepper was quite good and cooked to our order. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Cheap beer. I wouldn't offer BBQ pork rips when I do not even have a BBQ. View all feedback.

Family has been around for a while. Don’t expect sublime cuisine here as it’s a very simple restaurant. Western food is decent for the price, Asian options are better. One star deduction for the overwhelming amount of older expats who hang out here smoking like chimneys and drinking as if there’s no tomorrow. It’s a turn off. Another star deduction for no condiments or napkins at my table as service is nonexistent even by Cambodian standards. Better options around but a table outside and a basic meal is conducive.
Ordered the burger and fries for $3. It took a while to arrive but I wasn't in a hurry to go any where. It was very tasty. I would easily order it again.
