several elements on the menu that can be made vegan. ordered a vegetable-hooked horse with curry paste (can not remember the name of khmer). would rather have more curry paste, but overall satisfied with the plate. the personal is beautiful. View all feedback.
That is a beautiful place. we tried different places in kampot. eden eco is the best restaurant and guesthouse so far! eating is delicious, cooked with love and local. the fruits are fresh. cheerful joys are delicious. eden eco also strives to reduce plastic pollution. they do not serve plastic, they only sell reusable bottles and water refill is free. not usual in Cambodia. the bungalows are also operated by solar panels. a contemplative place where you can easily find rest and peace, and what about the prospect of the river? the best sunset we have experienced in Asia! only note: I would have expected more quantities in relation to Western foods.
I can't leave a 5 star review because the system won't let me as Eden is not fully vegetarian or vegan however I would give 5 stars if I could! Eden has a beautiful rustic setting on the river, where you can listen to the sounds of the local wildlife, the call to prayer from nearby Cham Mosque as well as bells and chants drifting across the river from the Buddhist Temple. Eden has a whole separate vegetarian lunch and dinner menu with a good selection of Khmer and Western foods to choose from. There are vegan options or many dishes can be altered very easily to make them vegan. The staff will understand if you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. I had the lovely yellow curry which is served with tasty brown rice. All the breakfasts are vegetarian and some are vegan or can be made vegan. There are breakfast specials each day that come with a bowl of fresh seasonal fruit. I can't recommend Eden enough for the variety of reasonably priced dishes on offer and the idyllic setting.
The food was delicious and it was beautifully prepared by the staff of the village. The dishes we ordered fused Cambodian or Asian ingredients with Western flavours, which made it a unique experience.

Would give 5 stars. they can eat here and I stayed here as well, what I would recommend. when they arrive, they give them a vain and a top plate and they have free use of kajaks and bikes! the personal cannot read English, but if they say what they want, they understand. the quantities of vegan options, locally based, made before location and very tasty!
