After checking Google Maps, I noticed that the previous reviews for this restaurant were outstanding, but over the past year, the reviews have been quite negative. This made my friends and I hesitant to visit, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially considering the size of the city we were in. The Khmer curry Vegetarian (52) that I ordered was delicious and full of flavor. My vegan friend enjoyed the Fried Vegetables (46), which had a nice variety of vegetables with cashews and tofu, although they felt it could have been more seasoned. Our non-vegan friends tried the Western dishes and were not impressed, which might explain the recent negative reviews. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was pleasant, with great lighting and plenty of fans. The prices were reasonable, and the best part is that all profits from the restaurant go to an NGO that supports education and vocational training for disadvantaged youth, with all staff coming from this program. Highly recommend for a good meal for a good cause.

I had a delicious Khmer curry that was perfectly spicy and creamy. The portion size was generous and the price was very affordable. They also have a small boutique inside selling charming and very inexpensive handicrafts that support the local community. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I recently had a delicious Khmer curry at this restaurant. It was perfectly spiced and creamy, with a generous portion size and affordable price. They also have a small boutique inside selling beautiful and unique crafts that support the local community. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful restaurant, led by an NGO with a great social mission (education and professional training for orphans and people from disadvantaged backgrounds, the trainees of this restaurant work to get professional experience). We had to stir the vegetarian chmer-curry, the Veg Amok and the lemongrass/peanut vine fry, and everything was destitute. The place itself is in a beautiful location.

Smile Restaurant was good, with nice food and a good service for my number of previous visits. But unfortunately this came to an abrupt end when I arrived at my last visit, the girl that would have served me was too interested in her smartphone and not interested in my custom.
