Upon arrival, I informed the chef t... read more I approached Flavor Town with some skepticism. As a discerning French critic, I couldn't afford to jeopardize my reputation. Upon arrival, I informed the chef that I was open to surprises. Then, a peculiar man on roller skates presented me with ratatouille. The moment it touched my tongue, I was momentarily frozen. I dropped my pen in slow motion as memories flooded back to me from my childhood. There was a night when I had crashed my bike, completely heartbroken and in tears on my way home. But when I walked through the door, I found my mother there to comfort me, and I sat down to enjoy the best meal of my life... at least until my visit to Flavor Town. It struck me then how jaded I had become as an adult. I savored every bite of the meal that followed, emerging as a changed man. Without a doubt, Flavor Town is the best restaurant on the planet.
