What Elmer Considine doesn't like about A&W Restaurant:
I stopped by a restaurant and ordered a Buddy burger with fries and a hash brown. The meal was decent overall, but the hash brown was a major disappointment. It was lukewarm and covered in grease, requiring extra napkins. The most unpleasant part was the bad taste left in my mouth from the very old oil used to cook it. View all feedback.
On our way back from the coast, we stopped into this location for a quick bite. It has great access off the highway and there is a lot of parking. We were greeted by very friendly staff and found this restaurant to be very clean. Our food was pretty good and served in a timely manner. Well worth the stop.
Nice quick and FRESH burger and fries.....root beer icy cold! Too bad that the better restaurants in Kamloops could preform this well in their category and class.... obviously the management here has been paying attention to details....thanks for a wonderful quick lunch.....will be back ????????????????????????????????
This was my second time visiting this A&W restaurant, with my first visit being on September 30th. I was in a hurry and had my two elderly disabled parents and my disabled brother with me. It can be difficult dealing with staff who may not understand your situation, but at this particular A&W, I was able to easily get my family in and out of the building. The fact that it was located at a truck stop was convenient for a quick stop. Despite the place being busy with other Thanksgiving weekend travelers, I was able to place my order and have my family fed within just 3-5 minutes. The tables were clean, the location was convenient, and the staff quickly assisted with cleanup. The seating was also accessible for my elderly and disabled family members. Overall, this A&W made our trip much smoother with its cleanliness and accessibility. I would recommend stopping by this A&W if you are in the area.
Love A & W Never had a bad burger here Had Teen Burger and Onion Rings today and it was really good Hot and fresh Fast .
I come to this A&W quite frequently and the reason why is because the service and quality is excellent! Why is excellent? Because the owner himself will help out in the kitchen when it's busy. I have talked to him and he cares about that...truck stop and about his restaurant, this is why I continue to come back. Excellent service, fast service, good food, and very clean!
