Contribute Feedback What Greg Hao likes about Tonkatsu House:
Not quite sure why others rate this place so low, I mean, it’s a food court restaurant… the food was above average, portions are generous and price is reasonable. The #17 is the most famous dish but for my money the #2 Boston Variety Combo is the one to get. View all feedback.
What Broxsius doesn't like about Tonkatsu House:
Their special says 13.70 plus tax ends up at 18, wish there was more rice. Portion is okay, but if you want the smallest to go box, it’ll cost you .50. Probably not worth it even if you see other people get it. View all feedback.
소스가 너무 맛있는 옛날 돈까스 맛집인데요 진짜는 함박 스테이크 입니다,, 아주 맛있어요 치즈돈까스도 맛있습니다..! Old school Korean King Tonkatsu 옛날 왕돈까스 is really good has nice sweet tangy sauce similar to Hawaiian pork cutlet , comes with marcaroni salad fresh thin sliced cabbage salad, and hot steamed rice. I REALLY recommend all the meat lovers to try the Hamburger Steak, which has really bold and simple flavor. Best 함박스테이크 ハンバーグステーキ I’ve ever tasted westernized hamburger steak with rice in Koreatown.
Fair price. Taste just ok but if your intent is to just get filled, this is a good place. Quantity is impressive for what you pay for, one order is good for 2 people and average price is $15. Not the best at customer service, might be just the nature of it and some culture differences. They validate parking on the bldg. Other than that, it’s an ok place.
Too pricey. They also charge $0.75 for a tiny takeout box.
Pretty much... THE GO-TO spot for all your DonKatSu cravings. Can't go wrong here. Prices, portions, they even change the frying oil after lunch time... So we try to time our visits. Known to be a celebrity hot spot as well. recommend !
It's been around for ages and there's a reason for it. Their old school style cutlets are great. It's more of a traditional Korean style cutlet, but the portion is big enough to feed 2.
