Contribute Feedback What Brian Baum doesn't like about Roca Pizza:
The food was fine but I was rather disappointed that they do not offer tap water to drink. I wasn't able to enjoy my food much being thirsty during my meal. ?I am unlikely to go again without them offering water. View all feedback.
Great place to grab a slice if you’re in the area. Parking is unforgiving but the vibe is pretty cool.
If you're looking for a really fresh and tasty slice look no further. This is a nice little pizza shop that sells whole, half and by the sliced pizzas. They also have fresh salads that are either made for a sit down or on the go. They have only outdoor seating in the quiet and beautiful Palisades village. On this visit I ordered a slice of soppressata burrata, a slice of cremini mushroom Italian sausage, and an order of suppli cheese rice croquette with tomato sauce and mozzarella). The mushroom slice is perfect for a mushroom lover. Wonderful earthiness and richness from the meat and cheese. The soppressata was a wonderful meaty slice with a Herby pesto. The mind blowing though experience was the suppli rice croquettes that was in my own words like a risotto filled fried log paired with a wonderful tomato sauce and creamy gooey mozzarella. It's a shame that I didn't get more. When I am back in this area I will be swinging by to try more.Vegetarian options: Several options available.Kid-friendliness: It's pizza.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps.
To be honest I was really excited for a new restaurant in the palisades cuz all of the restaurants here suck!! This one sucks too! I don't understand why someone can't open one good food place around here. Most the food doesn't taste good. The dough tastes like I'm biting into a thick paper box. There's no flavor. The quality is not there. Their pizza tastes awful. I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude but you should honestly try considering a new recipe because it's pretty bad. Try going to Margo's in Santa Monica or Pizza Tongue in Glendale. Go try their vegan pizza and it's 100 times better than this place. You're competing against that kind of deliciousness so you should try them and make a new recipe after you eat their pizza. Or else I don't think your business will make it very far. Also consider some homemade vegan cheese. Redo your concept menu!

I live in the area and walk Palisades Village every weekend, it 's my favorite little area in L. A. I was excited a few months ago to see a new little pizza place open in the village, something desperately needed.Today, I finally went in and bought 2 slices, one plain, and one pepperoni, to try the place out and decide if it 'd be my new close-to-home pizza place. It will not. This was the worst pizza I 've had in L. A. in the 40+ years I 've been here from NY. I have high standards, having grown up on NY pizza, but there are lots of great pizza joints in this city that measure up, this just ain 't one of 'em.The pepperoni was supposedly fresh out of the oven, yet it was soggy, barely warm, and DRENCHED in oil that tasted like it was honey or sugar based, it was cloyingly sweet. VERY disappointing. After 2 bites I moved to the plain and it was worse as it didn 't have the taste of greasy pepperoni to help it.For this 'pleasure ' I paid $13.50 FOR TWO SLICES, then even added a $1 tip for the kid who worked there who barely said 2 words to me and neither was 'Thank ' or 'you '.STEER CLEAR. Find a close Dominos, the pizza won 't be up to NY standards but it 'll be a damn sight better than this place.
