Great Thai food in DTLA. We can this place Thai Basement because it is literally in the basement of a jewelry district building. The food here is good, prolly one of the better in downtown.... But if you want to drive for Thai food, go-to Sanaamluang in Thai Town. View all feedback.
What Thomas K doesn't like about Rama Thai Cuisine:
I called at 10 to place a order because yelp say 10 to 3:30. But I was told very rudely that they open at 10:30, so don 't call until 10:30 or you also will be yelled at. His exact words were, (this is on the phone. No Hello, or May I help you. From the point of picking up the phone, I didn 't even get to say hello yet), We are closed now! we open at 10:30! Call Back at 10:30! . View all feedback.
Love ordering lunch from here always on time and always sooooo good i recommend the spicy fried rice and fish sauce to dip the shrimp in my go-to
Food is plain, its okay if you are hungry but I would not choose to go here again. Plus, the lady taking the orders was rude from the beginning.Hard Pass
Wonderful surprise to try somewhere new and it turns out to be so good. Everything about the place was nice including the service and decor. Best thing was we walked out more than satisfied with our meal and it was for less than I expected. Worth going back to!
Absolutely the best. They are so friendly every time I come. The garlic chicken is phenomenal. Get cash out of the atm, they only accept cash. Nearest atm is across the way at a BOA.
Fantastic Thai food in Downtown Los Angeles! We call this place Thai Basement because it's literally located in the basement of a jewelry district building. The food here is excellent, definitely one of the best options in downtown. However, if you’re willing to drive a bit for Thai cuisine, I recommend Sanaamluang in Thai Town.
