I first went here on a blind date, well I dumped him n kept coming back for the Egg foo young, it's the Best I've had in yrs. The restaurant needs remodeling but I'm ok if they just don't change the food

Have been a customer for many years though I have not purchased really since COVID. Ordered Mongolian beef and it was absolutely terrible! Tough old dark pieces of beef, salty gravy, and filled with spring onions, no bell peppers or bok choy at all. Just awful! Plus loaded with MSG. My fingers and face were itchy and swollen within half hour. Never had this happened before and I have never said no msg because in the past it wasn't used at Kim's. So I ended up throwing away a 14.00 carton of food. Very upset. Plus I had to ask for a receipt. I deplore merchants who swipe your card and then do not give a receipt. I need my receipt!! Oh how I miss Yees on slauson!!

I ordered takeout and I received my order and half the items were incorrect. I did not get the chicken eggrolls. I did not get the general chicken. They sent something else to my house. Very disappointed. Will never order here again. Honestly have no idea what they gave me.

Kim's is a legacy business in this community. The food is good. It's necessary to make sure that the actual meal looks like the picture on the menu.While the food is good, I recently experienced a situation where the shrimp pictured on the menu were not large and colorful, like the ones in the picture. Next time, I will inquire and check. I recommend Kim's highly, I've eaten this food since the late 1960s!!!The standard meals are consistent, and the staff is accommodating regarding requests. It is necessary to get get a clear understanding of exactly what you're ordering.
