Bar Magnolia Restaurant

Our favorite family saying when off the beaten path is It 's an adventure and this was. We had been running errands and wanted to stop for lunch. Pulled up google maps and found this less than appealing hole in the wall. Even though we passed through a questionable part of town we 're brave so, why not. We were pleasantly surprised when we stepped inside to find a quaint diner. It was clean and charming. The Reuben was the best in our recent search to find a really good one and the Chicken Quesadilla was more than generous, enough for two meals. The service was excellent. Give it a try. You won 't be disappinted.

There are unclean tables, the counter were you pay you bill had a plate of half-eaten chicken wings and small puddles of water that it was a little challenging signing the credit card receipt. Loads of miscellaneous items haphazardly stacked here and there. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like.

Ate here twice on my last visit. Both times were for Breakfast. I love scrapple , most places deep fry it and I don't care for that. Magnolia fries it the old fashioned way which is best. The pancakes are vry good aslo.

We have only eaten here for breakfast but keep wanting to return for dinner as the menu is really well thought out and sounds delish. The meals we have had have been prepared well, eggs and toast as ordered and good coffee. The service is friendly and efficient.

Small homey place, excellent breakfast. Home style cooking at it's best for breakfast. Nothing fancy where you need not worry about being dressed up to go there.
