You will either love the atmosphere or hate it, I loved it. The service was great, but you had to order at the bar, but they did bring the pizza to the table. Pizza was some of the best I have ever had. Was in from out of town, but will make the trip back to have the pizza again
Ate here 3 years ago and was sold on this place! The pizza for the crust is some of the best I have had in the country!
Great pizza, beer and service. Great vibe inside, . Very warm inside though.
Love everything about Mooses including the tshirts they sell next door!!
Too hot to sit comfortably in booth area but cooler by bar! Better air flow in summer is a must but gotta love Moose’s!
Nestled in a nostalgic atmosphere that harks back to the 1970s, this restaurant offers a unique dive bar experience, complete with sawdust on the floor and complimentary peanuts. While patrons rave about its character and affordable drinks, they express mixed feelings about the food service. Pizzas promise to delight but occasionally miss the mark, leading to some disappointment. Expect waiting times ranging from 25 minutes to over an hour, depending on the order. Firmly rooted in local culture, the establishment exudes charm and warmth, making it a memorable pit stop for those seeking an authentic experience.

The food was amazing! The only thing I didn't appreciate was how dim the lighting was.
This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food. I really enjoy the 15-inch pizza, half cheese and half pepperoni. It's a wonderful spot to dine in and enjoy your meal, and you can also grab a drink if you want. Alternatively, you can place an order for pickup.
However, let's be honest: Moose's isn't the best choice for a family outing. It has that distinctive dive bar charm, complete with a touch of grit and character. So, if you're planning a visit with kids, you may want to consider other options. But if you want to relax, enjoy a drink, and hang out with friends, Moose's is absolutely the spot for you. The pizza is legendary, and the vibe is always lively and inviting. In summary, Moose's Saloon is your top destination for a casual night out—just leave the kiddos at home and come ready to enjoy some fantastic food and drinks. Cheers to Moose's!
Moose’s pizza is the only kind my stomach will tolerate. Not sure why and not going to question it. But my guess is that they use quality ingredients/ real food.
We love this place! The pizza is delicious. We enjoyed hanging out and meeting some people.

I'm from Salem, Oregon, and I've never visited Kalispell or even Montana. Moose's definitely lived up to its reputation in the area; many locals suggested I try it, and I'm so glad I did. The prices were quite reasonable, and the atmosphere was vibrant, with walls that seem to narrate stories from the past (remember to bring a pocket knife to carve your name!). The staff was friendly, remembered my name, and were eager to serve me. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
The prices are reasonable for the area, and the overall experience is unique, plus the pizza is good. However, I didn’t find it particularly welcoming for tourists; the young lady who took our order wasn’t very friendly or enthusiastic about explaining their offerings. Despite that, I would still recommend it! Just a heads-up: don’t wear nice shoes, as there’s a lot of deep sawdust on the floor. If you want to carve your name into the booth, wall, or ceiling, bring a knife! Make sure to choose your seat before ordering, as they’ll ask for your table number first. I appreciate that they offer half sandwiches and very small pizzas, allowing you to sample multiple items.
I've been visiting Moose's since 1989, even though I no longer live in Kalispell. Whenever I'm back in town, I make it a point to stop by. They serve ice-cold beer, and the atmosphere is fantastic. They have the best pizza I've ever tasted! It's a must-visit spot in Montana. I've heard that Evel Knievel came up with his Snake River jump ideas right at that bar.
What in the world did I just walk into? This place is a wonderfully chaotic experience. It truly captures the vibe you'd expect from a bar in Kalispell. The atmosphere is laid-back, the food is excellent, and there are plenty of TVs to enjoy. The staff are friendly and patient, making for a pleasant visit. I came here with our daughter who’s a local!
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! You must stop by and see Pat and Ethan at the bar, and don't forget to try the delicious pizza made by Lexie. The service was outstanding, and the food was exceptional. I highly recommend visiting – you won't be disappointed!

The restaurant has hardly changed since the late 1970s, featuring sawdust on the floor and peanuts for guests. They offer clam chowder on Fridays, adding to the nostalgic charm of this classic spot. It's comforting to witness that some traditions endure. Just be cautious about...
We absolutely love Mooses! The chicken tenders are consistently amazing, and the staff is always friendly. The pizza is fantastic too! Love you all!
The best pizza in the world! This is the spot where Evel Knievel may have had a few too many drinks before trying to jump the Grand Canyon, and where my dad also had a little too much fun...
I really enjoy the pizza here, and the staff is fantastic! I also appreciate it when the atmosphere is a bit quieter. Haha! I guess I'm just getting older.
Great pizza! The sawdust and peanut shells on the floor create a distinctive atmosphere that's hard to beat.

We discovered this local gem on our first night in Kalispell, lured in by the reasonable beer prices and the mouthwatering smell of pizza. The atmosphere and the lively conversations made for a wonderful evening. It’s an excellent spot to savor some light snacks and enjoy $2.50 draft beers. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again!
I've been a loyal patron of Moose's for many years, and their pizza has consistently been exceptional. They serve a thin-crust pizza on a cornmeal base that ensures a perfect crunch. The toppings are generous, and the sauce is simply delightful. The crust strikes the perfect balance of crispiness. There's nothing quite like savoring a cold beer alongside a bowl of salted peanuts. My daughter ordered a Hawaiian pizza, and by the end of the meal, there was only one slice left. It's hard to believe that 40 years ago, when we first started coming here, she was just a baby, and she still adores the pizza. The floors are dusted with sawdust, and if you find an empty spot, you can even carve your name into the benches. Kalispell is incredibly fortunate to have such a renowned pizza establishment.
I've been going to Moose's since 1989, even though I no longer live in Kalispell. Whenever I return, I always make it a priority to stop by. The beer is served ice cold, the atmosphere is fantastic, and they have the best pizza I've ever had! It's definitely a must-visit place in Montana. I've also heard that Evel Knievel came up with the idea for his Snake River jump right at this bar.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this restaurant! Having come from New York, it was a refreshing change to be in a different environment. The staff was incredibly friendly. We ordered pizza and salad, and everything tasted amazing!
What a delightful surprise! This restaurant has an wonderfully chaotic atmosphere that truly embodies the spirit of a Kalispell bar. The vibe is relaxed, the food is exceptional, and there are plenty of TVs to keep you entertained. The staff is not only friendly, but also remarkably patient. I had a great time catching up with our local daughter!

The food and beer prices are fantastic. The meat lovers pizza was incredible. While there was sawdust on the floors, it contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. It's a wonderful neighborhood place to chill and take a break.
This restaurant has a unique atmosphere perfect for enjoying food and drinks, especially for those who prefer a laid-back setting. The vibe is casual and welcoming, with soft lighting and several TVs scattered around. Almost every surface—including the walls, ceilings, tables, and benches—has carved names, which seems to be a fun tradition. They offer complimentary peanuts as a snack, and the floor is covered with a mix of sawdust and peanut shells. The pizza features a particularly thin crust with a nice crunch; it may not be the best pizza you’ve ever tasted, but it certainly has its own charm and is quite enjoyable.
This restaurant offers a delightful vintage saloon ambiance, complete with sawdust-covered floors and peanuts at the bar, which adds to the playful atmosphere. The beer prices are quite affordable as well! My wife and I enjoyed a 12-inch pizza that was absolutely delicious, featuring a cornmeal crust. The bartender was outstanding—extremely friendly and welcoming (I regret not catching his name; I think it might have been Travis?). All in all, we had a fantastic experience!
My wife and I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! It's truly a hidden gem in Montana! The pizza was delicious, the service was quick, and the bar's historical decor was impressive. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit!
