A local Canberra club with a great location overlooking the lake offers a mix of experiences for diners. Despite some disappointing dishes and plastic found in a meal, the club offers good value, great views, and attentive service. While some dishes may not meet expectations, the fish and chips by the lake are highly recommended. With fast service, fresh fish, and a wonderful location, it's a great spot for a summer brunch. Overall, the club provides above average food, competent wine list, and friendly staff in a relaxing environment with beautiful views.

We ordered the Family Pack, and it was absolutely delicious! The chips were crispy, the seafood was fresh, and there was plenty of food to go around. We had a fantastic time with a large group, and the children really enjoyed exploring. We will definitely be returning!
I 'd love to say 'hidden gem ' but it seems pretty much hair of Canberra know about this. Doesn 't matter though. It was great. The picnic style setting by the lake with lushous lawns and trees for shade make it ideal for families and those wanting to hang around a while. And the fish... So fresh and lovely, and pretty quick too boot. Considering how busy they were. It 's one of those order and they give you a pager to collect deals. Also, there 's a bar nearby as well, in case you 've run out of cans in the Esky.. Definitely coming back next time in Canberra.
I was here about a handful of time and never had a bad experience. it is busy, popular and offers a fantastic view of the lake. probably one of the best restaurants in canberra. good choice of weeping, beer and dine at a good price.
