We ate as a family of four. Everything we ordered, from the garlic naan, to the vindaloo beef were outstanding! It takes me back to some of the beutiful curries i have enjoyed in the UK. What User doesn't like about Virsa:
This place has a lot of potential. It's in a handy location for locals, but lacks much ambience. The inability to pay by EFTPOS/credit card would stop us from going back again as that's just not convenient for us. But the food is fantastic, and the staff are pretty friendly. We will definitely go back but might give them another month or two to iron out a few things! View all feedback.

I have visited this Indian restaurant a few times now and I believe they are still working out some kinks. The first time we went, they were not using the tandoor oven. The next time, they did not have the chef's special (Goat) available. However, our 3rd and 4th visits were really enjoyable. Last week, there was a small lack of communication as our table was not cleared before dessert was served and we only received one of the two rice pudding dishes we ordered. We ended up taking the extra dish home as a takeaway and had a good laugh about it. Despite these issues, we will continue to dine here as the food is delicious and I am confident they will address these minor issues. It's great to have an Indian restaurant in the hills.
I have ordered take away Indian from from this venue several times and each time I have been really impressed with the food. What I am really impressed with is the size and amount of meat used in each dish. I have had Indian food from other places and I am usually a bit disappointed with how curries can be mainly the sauce and not much meat, which isn't ideal if you want to order a few different curries to share.

I ate a very pleasant meal here about 3 weeks ago. Food was well presented and tasty. Prices were moderate and serves were generous. There's no credit card facilities so you need to have the cash with you. Hopefully this will not be the case for long. Tables have white linen cloths and there's linen serviettes. Waitresses were pleasant and attentive. However the place lacks any real ambience with tables lined up canteen style in a large mostly spartan room. Room dividers or pot plants would make a difference. Some background Indian music would also help create some atmosphere. I would return but for take away.
