This is an establishment designed with love and passion, which pours over into the staff who show nothing but pride in what they do. Even if you should choose to venture into Valhalla alone, youwill most likely leave with new friends. I encourage anyone who enjoys good mead and good company to support this business andtheir patrons.

I tried Odin and the Holy Grail meads, and I got Odin with some bourbon oak smoke added to the glass (a really cool option). Both were very easy to drink andflavorful. The people working there were very helpful and sociable, and it definitely felt like a congenial, warm place tospend an afternoon or evening. I?d definitely like to come back for trivia night sometime.

The worker had amazing customer service and was so kind, but I was completely shocked by the taste of the mead. I love absolutely love mead, so I was thrilled to find this one with a high rating when visiting Kalamazoo. My husband and I were shocked by the taste. I can’t pinpoint the taste, it has a super syrupy flavor and you can’t necessarily taste the fruit in it. The atmosphere is also lacking, but we were willing to ignore that for mead. We left so disappointed.
