Los Amigos Mexican - Kalamazoo

I've seen the negative reviews but I just don't get it. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Kalamazoo. My waiter, Joel, was excellent. After a few visits, I felt truly valued and pampered.

Sam, the chip guy, is simply the best! Your salsa and chips will be on your table before you've even settled in, and he makes sure they never run out. Plus, when we had a dead car battery after our dinner, Sam came out to jump-start our car for us! He truly saved the night. We love going back to visit him; the entire staff is fantastic, and the food is delicious too! It's always a fun time!

I've always loved this place—the green sauce is amazing on everything! My only wish is that the aluminum foil containers were sturdier and that they didn't come with flimsy plastic utensils. Also, be careful of the large pothole by the channel drain.

The fajita chimichanga burrito was the bomb. it was absolutely delicious every bite and I had a lot to take home. The portion size was enough to feed 2 very hungry adults. The rice and the fried beans I haven't tasted in a Mexican restaurant for some time. I was impressed and very pleased. It was my first time in this restaurant and I will come back again and again...

OMG! I Ordered the Fajitas Chimichangas Jalisco and I simply could not eat it all, but boy did I try! Nice relaxing atmosphere, great energy room the service staff and wonderful conversations with guests at surrounding tables. Will definitely be back here again!
