Checkers - Kalamazoo

I would rate this restaurant two stars, and that might even be generous. I placed an order through the app at 9:40 PM, and it was supposed to be ready by 9:49 PM. I arrived at 9:53 PM, and I was still waiting to receive my order, nearly 30 minutes later. It took almost 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence, and then I had to wait while they served every single customer in the drive-thru before they decided to finish my order. With at least five employees in such a small restaurant, it’s hard to understand why it took them so long to prepare my meal. They seemed overwhelmed and unable to manage the situation effectively. My order was simple—just two burgers, a fry, and a soda—so the delay was frustrating. On the bright side, I was relieved they didn’t let their employees wear wireless earbuds while handling food, as that could lead to further complications.

The food was great! The young woman who served me was incredible. It was one of the best service experiences I've had at a fast-casual restaurant.

I really enjoy this restaurant, but I'm currently stuck in a long wait. I've been here for 45 minutes, and the car in front of me has been completely overlooked for the last 20 minutes. The food is great, but this waiting time is just unacceptable.

A little to hard on the scab for the champ but still good would have given them five otherwise

A fast food place that still gets it. Not lightning fast but fresh, tasting with great price points. Outstanding!
