Had great food at Mokes, it gets really busy sometimes and there can be a wait, but it's totally worth it. I grew up here on Oahu but no longer live on island. But we try to go Mokes everytime we come home to the Aina. They have really good Loco moco best I've had on island personally. Wife loved hers aswell. Try the Ribeye one, Ono. Honey butter biscuit is good also. Tryem grilled. This one hawaiian lives mainland n... View all feedback.
I'll be back again! our server was awesome, the wait reasonable, food fantastic and the drive was worth it.
The pancakes were good, but the French toast was quite boring. the reuben was not unbelievable, but still tasty, and I appreciated the black and the fact that they could get a side salad instead of pommes. best was the service very friendly and the prices were reasonable. overall I was satisfied with moke’s and did not want to review it again.
This place is busy and you'll want to go early for breakfast or be prepared to wait. They only have a dozen tables with two outside. The food is very good with the bread products home made. Portions were good sized and the service was very good. The wait for our food was short and the quality was very good.
Stopped by on our way to Kualoa Ranch hoping for a quick bite. They were short staffed when we arrived with only 1 server working, so the manager seemed to be pretty flustered and annoyed at people calling in. It was going to be quicker to order takeout (15 min turned into 20 as we reviewed the menu outside). We sat outside on some chairs waiting for our food. Make sure to ask for cutlery and condiments in Hawaii because it isn't standard to include. I did get forks but forgot to ask for ketchup. The guy told us to check back in after 20 minutes, which I did (I didn't want to keep going in and asking before that time), but when I went in I saw that our order had actually been ready sooner and was just sitting in the back. He should pay more attention to takeout orders when people are waiting. The 2nd server arrived while we were waiting. We ate in our car. We ordered the stack of 2 large lilikoi pancakes and the mokapu omelet. The takeout pancakes came with 2 little containers of lilikoi sauce, would have liked more, but they were pretty good. The omelet with hashbrowns was tasty but didn't have enough cheese for my taste. It had chunks of mushrooms and Portuguese sausage. No pic of the omelet, we were too hungry and in a rush. Was really looking forward to it being something special, but I am not sure I would go out of my way for it again.
A must! Their liliko'i pancakes were fantastic! Fresh pineapple juice was also delicious! Don't hesitate with this place!
