Upon my arrival on the Big Island, it was too early to check in to my hotel. They kindly held onto my bag and recommended this place, as I was in the mood for a refreshing smoothie after my long journey. The smoothie was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. What User doesn't like about Menehune Coffee Company:
beside the pier, this is a great place to take coffee and snacks before or after swimming, and for exotic coffee drinks such as doublemochafrappicinos or whatever they are called, it is quite popular. every cup of good ole kona coffee I had, but is pretty bad. a good cup kona is from this world (see my review for the coffee shack). Very convenient if you're staying at the hotel. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.
They forgot to prepare my drink when I ordered a baked item, claiming they didn't have it because they simply didn't want to make it. The staff was rude as well.

The iced latte with Menehune honey is fantastic! This is my favorite coffee spot on the Big Island, all thanks to that delicious honey. They keep the honey at the coffee bar, and I love adding it to my iced coffee. I ended up visiting every day during my vacation because it’s just so good – not to mention the amazing staff!
Menehune did not disappoint this morning! We ordered the Honu and the Big Island, and both were absolutely delicious! The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning and making this cafe a regular spot. Thank you!
