Bianelli's Gourmet Pizza - Kailua Kona

Ordered the deep food gourmet viggar with vegan cheese and it was amazing. definitiw is high in comparison to all the other vegan pizza I had over the years. it is $3 extra dollar charged for the vegan cheese so that is a little steep, but I think it was worth it.

Love, love, love the vegan cheese option for her pizza and calzone. if I could rate them a 5 stars, I would (app only allowed 5 stars reviews for vegetarian or vegan restaurants). they recently switched their vegan chez to Violife shredders (pro server) and it was great. so melty and creamy that it makes them wonder whether it was really vegan (it was). very nice staff and would recommend to anyone who visits kona.

I really wanted to like this place more. But I couldn’t justify 4 stars. It’s more like 3.5 stars because I’m thrilled they offer vegan options, so I would go back when I’m in the mood for pizza. We order a calzone (vegan cheese), a thick crust Health Pie (designed without cheese), and a traditional crust Gourmet Vegetarian (vegan cheese). The Health Pie was my favorite because I love thick crust and it had no cheese (I really don’t like Daiya, sorry). But my husband was happy with the vegan cheese so that’s good enough for me.
