Daiyasu - Kagoshima

We had an absolute hit here! do not expect an English, but the staff is really friendly and we had so much fun. eating and drinking was delicious.

Usually crowded, an energetic place serving raw and cooked chicken, very good for beer

Food taste really good, don’t expect any english though. very cozy environment. nice place to have a beer too!

The building is cool and the staff are nice. But the food is not so good unfortunately. We got the three recommended dishes: chicken sashimi, chicken skin salad, grilled chicken thigh. Chicken salad is totally waste of a dish in my opinion as it’s just cabbage chicken skin and Nori with vinegar. The other chicken dishes had good smoky flavor but I think the chef cut the chicken incorrectly because some parts were really tender but most were super chewy which is not typical for momo yakitori or chicken sashimi. The cost performance was really good as it’s a cheap place. But if you’re here on vacation you will get better food at another option.
